olympics

seriously, can Canada come in forth once more? I am developing a zinc medal in honour of them. That way we would still not be medalless with one of the biggest olympic teams there.
They could have sent me to compete in all the events and we would have done the same. Does anyone remember the swimmer from an African country (I know, I know that is very broad comment) but he took like 4 times as long to do the 100 as the winner and everyone there was cheering just as hard they did for the winner. Anyway, I could have been a star fo the Olympics b/c it would take me 10x as long and everyone would be cheering for me and I would have gotten the cover of a Wheeties box and Canada would be a "feel good story" rather then a bunch of losers.
In honour of the Olympic and wicked athletes, here is some pommel horsing action

She has good form.

This is why I am always more pumped and addicted to the winter Olympics - we actually have a snowball's chance.

Also: synchronized diving? Really? That's a skill?

Agreed, Pants. No sport, no matter how athletic, should be included in the olympics if it's entirely based on another's POV. That just makes it subjective. And the olympics should be all about higher, faster, stronger. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, that's right. I'm talking about you gymnastics, boxing, diving, skating, and dressage.

Dressage. Law was telling me that they filled a stadium with a bunch of Chinese folks so it would look like the seats were full. And then the dressage started. And they were like 'oh, they're warming up.' But then it became clear that this was the actual event. So most of the people got up and left.

But these are also the people who have been practicing 'cheering' since October (did you see that bit?), so they can't really point fingers.

Men's gymnastics is pretty impressive though...
